Chateau Cabans 2014, Medoc Cru Bourgeois
Description
Chateau Cabans 2014, Medoc Cru BourgeoisABV 13% Grapes: Cabernet Sauvignon (70%) Merlot (30%) Tasting Notes This excellent Cru Bourgeois Chateau is located on gravel and flint soils overlooking the Gironde River at its northern most point. It is a modern interpretation of a traditional Bordeaux blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon and 30% Merlot grapes. The fruit is soft, ripe and appealing, balanced by supple, ripe tannins. Exotic blackcurrant, cherry and chocolate flavours lift the palate,
including Chateau Clinet
The estate is not far from the calm of the river itself
but there is good substance and “solidity” to this Bernadotte
The palate is wonderfully fresh with summer berry flavours and notes of crushed rose petals
This will always be beautiful to drink
The 2012 Simard offers good complexity to match its pleasant
but this is “les caprices de la nature”
Having begun his career as an engineer
Nice graphite finish
agile finish
honeysuckle and toasted brioche
This wine will easily keep for 7-8 years
