Plumerias are everywhere herethey're very common in flower leis, their fragrance fills the air, and of course a lot of jewelry is made using them as a motif. I jumped at the opportunityI'd been sketching some Hawaiiana designs lately

This is a cursive form of Paleo-Hebrew found on administrative inscriptions in the ancient city of Tel Lachish that date back to the late sixth and early seventh centuries BCE

and to Avinu Malkeinu when we need God's parentage

I decided to change that and take this unknown graphic designer's 1952 cover art and turn it into a brooch myself

Part of the beauty of how the two bands fit together is that the three stones in the ring run dead center down the middle of the fitted set's width

and these odd little earrings are an homage to that aesthetic

and shaped like an eye to boot

She wrote back fairly quickly
