Antique Gem Tintype AlbumGem sized tintype photos or little gems were most popular in the 1860s 1880s are about the size of a postage stamp. I love miniatures and anything tiny, so I find gem albums absolutely irresistible. This one is in exceptional condition: Very clean and tight with no ripped openings (which are common because they made them too danged small!). The album is full and contains 48 gems. Best of all, its bound in arsenic green cloth.
