Lamy Safari Fountain Pen - ScarletJosef Lamy was a German sales representative of Parker Pens with dreams of creating his own company to manufacture and sell fountain pens. In 1930, Lamy established Orthos Fullfederhalter Fabrik and within the decade, the company experienced tremendous growth. In 1952, the company released its first pen, the Lamy 27, which became a symbol of the brands high quality with its smooth flowing ink. In 1966, they unveiled the now legendary Lamy 2000,

which resulted in it being acquired twice
